IAG in principle supports the general intent of the Final Report of the Financial System Inquiry.
IAG believes the report reflects a genuine understanding of the factors that influence insurance pricing and affordability. However, IAG cautions against broad based additional regulation in the insurance sector that may unintentionally disadvantage marginal groups or stifle innovation.
