Review of the Motor Vehicles Standards Act 1989

Insurance Australia Group (IAG) supports the Government's focus on delivering safer roads and better vehicles for motorists as part of the review of the Motor Vehicle Standards Act 1989. IAG welcomes the Government's agreement to consider options to reduce restrictions on the personal importation of new vehicles. Additionally, IAG strongly supports the Government's decision to deter the importation of used second-hand vehicles.
